Social Benefits
Perhaps the most overlooked benefit of golf is the social aspect. Golf is a social sport by nature. Whether you’re playing with a group of old friends or a group of new ones, golf can help you keep social. All you have to do is get out there.
These are just some of the many social benefits to playing golf:
A little social interaction, and some friendly banter can go a long way in boosting our mood and making us feel a sense of belonging.
The social interaction from golf reduces the risk of anxiety and depression.
Young and old, new or seasoned, no matter what your background or physical condition is, there is a place for you on the course.
Golf is a great way to break up a day-to-day routine, and always gives you something to look forward to.
Golf is a great way to spend quality time with the whole family. It’s a sport that can be enjoyed from age 4 to age 104, so every family member can experience a day on the course.
Playing a round is a great way to bond with new and old friends and can also be an effective way to network and foster business relationships. Whether you’re comparing techniques, or discussing the work-week, it’s a perfect environment to let the conversation flow.
